Theatres have still not recovered from COVID, as season ticket holders have not all got back into the habit and as foundations and businesses have not fully resumed grants and other support. However, fortunately, 2024 is turning out to be busier for Nedra than anticipated. In February, THEY MUST BE WOMEN NOW had a staged reading with Nora's Playhouse South in Montgomery, Alabama. In April, CATATONIC was produced by Talisman Theatre in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England. In June, COLOR ME SCREWED was produced by the Grosse Pointe Theatre in Michigan. July ended with word that JOEY LATINO AND FRANKIE Z is a winner in Chameleon Theatre's 15th New Play Festival and will receive a staged reading in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in October. And August began with AACT announcing that another of Nedra's full-length plays has advanced to the second round of judging in NewPlayFest. More details as they become available.
